Your leaderboard positions and rankings are stored to display competitive standings among users.
Friends & Social Connections
We store your friends list and social connections within Quiz Guru to enable friend following and score comparisons.
Purchase History
We store records of course purchases and coin purchases made through Google Play Store. This data is kept internally and not displayed to users.
Device Information
We collect device type, operating system, and app usage patterns to improve performance and fix technical issues.

How We Use Your Information
Account Management
Your email and account details verify your identity, enable login, and manage your Quiz Guru profile.

Your quiz scores and rankings are used to populate leaderboards and enable competitive features.
Friend Connections
Your friends list enables social features like following friends and comparing quiz scores.
Payment Processing
Purchase history is used to verify course ownership, manage coin balance, and process transactions through Google Play Store.
Service Improvement
Usage analytics help us understand how students interact with Quiz Guru, allowing us to improve features and fix bugs.

Encryption
All data transmission is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols. Your password is securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
Secure Storage
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers with multiple layers of protection, regular backups, and restricted access controls.
Access Controls
Only authorized Quiz Guru team members can access user data, and only when necessary for support or development purposes.
Google Play Security
All payment information is handled exclusively by Google Play Store. We never see or store your complete credit card numbers.

Google Play Store
We share necessary purchase information with Google Play Store to process course and coin purchases. Google handles all payment processing.
Analytics Services
We use analytics tools (like Google Analytics, Firebase) to understand app usage patterns. Only anonymized, aggregated data is shared for analysis.
No Sale of Personal Data
We NEVER sell your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your data is yours.

Quiz Guru Coins & Purchase Data
Coin Balance Tracking
We track your coin balance to ensure accurate coin usage for AI chat and AI PDF summarization features.
Purchase Records (Internal Only)
We maintain internal records of all course and coin purchases for accounting, fraud prevention, and customer support. These purchase records are stored but NOT displayed to users.
Transaction Security
All purchase transactions are processed through Google Play Store's secure payment system. We do not handle credit card information directly.
Account Deletion & Data Removal
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, ALL of the following data is permanently removed: email, password, username, profile photo, quiz scores and attempts, leaderboard rankings, friends list and connections, AI chat history (if any was stored), purchased courses access, and coin balance.
Deletion Timeline
Your account and personal data will be completely deleted within 7 days of your deletion request.
Anonymized Analytics
Non-identifiable, anonymized usage statistics may be retained for app performance analytics and improvement. This data cannot be linked back to you.
AI Features & Privacy
AI Chat
AI chat conversations are processed to provide responses but are NOT permanently stored or tracked in your activity history.
AI PDF Summarization
PDFs you upload are processed temporarily to generate AI summaries. PDF content is NOT permanently stored after processing and NOT tracked in activity data.
Coin-Based Access
AI features require coins to use. We track coin deductions for billing purposes but do not track the content of your AI interactions.
Children's Privacy
Quiz Guru has no minimum age restriction. However, if users under 13 use the app, we recommend parental guidance. We do not knowingly collect more data from children than necessary for app functionality. Parents can request account deletion for minors at any time.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
